	In one of our equipment in a Steel Refining unit, a hydraulic drive is installed. In the drive, hydraulic motor of Linde make, Model BMF 35 and Gear Box of Hydropa make, Model No. EC 2046 is used. These came with the original equipment and is in operation for past 20 years.Now that the drive have become slow and less efficient,we want to procure replacement for the pump. Since we do not have any technical details for the motor we are not in a position to locate proper alternative. We also do not have details for the gear box and hence not able to back calculate the motor capacity. If anybody can provide me with the details for the motor or the gearbox I will be obliged. Thanks in advance.

	Linde is still in business call them. Google Linde hydraulics. They make a HMF 35 may be a direct replacement __________________ Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty, pristine body but rather to come sliding in sideways, all used up and exclaiming, "Wow, what a ride!"

	Just type in Linde BMF-35 in your search engine and you'll find all kinds of references for it. I just did and see several available links. I had to get part numbers for the pumps and motors and electical parts where I work and that's all I needed to do. That also includes hydralic and pneumatic cylinders and other components that I needed to aquire a technical data sheets to request part numbers from France, our parent company. I see that model of yours referenced several times so it is still available. I'm sure those venders have contact information. Look on the plate that is on the pump and have that information ready so you can give the configuration for the pump. The voltage, amps, capacity, flange sizes and mount specifics and type of seal. __________________ Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time but always enough time to do it over?

	Thanks for the informations. I have already checked the Linde site. But since I am unaware of the characteristics of the installed pump I am unable to compare with any other model available in the market. Also whatever links are available against BMF 35 are none of the OEM, rather of the repairers/refurbishers. Hence I am still on the lookout. Still thanks for the opinions.
