Dahlander Motor / Dual Speed Motor

1) How rotor in dahlander is rotates, since there is no electrical supply in rotor to create a polarize field??

2) How RMF is produced in dahlander motor??

A dahlander motor has squirrel cage rotor, the magnetic field generated by the stator induces a current within the bars of the rotor, which in turn generate a magnetic field of the same polarity, thus they repell.

You don't need an auxiliary winding to start rotation, since a three phase stator produces a revolving magnetic field around the core, causing the rotor to spin.

Regards
