Reciprocating Compressor Valve Assemblies

07/27/2012 3:15 PM

I have 3 IR recip, 300 PSI, 400 RPM compressors My discharge valves are deeply pitted and need to be replaced. What I'm looking for are sources other than IR which has given me a long lead time to get what I need. All my equipment is used for the research into the development of future propulsion systems. One source is not enough. The model I have is a 3HHE-3. at the moment more specific #'s are at work. If you have or know where a source might be, I can be more specific. I have pictures but I would need to have an address to forward them to. Any help will be appreciated, Thanks!

These guys have been around for a long time http://www.hoerbiger.com . I've never done business with them. Is this air or are special materials involved?

Hoerbiger is the compressor valve supplier with best design and longer life.

However, when you try to change the OEM valves, Hoerbiger or any other may need some key design data on the compressor gas /air end, which you should be able to provide or obtain from IR, that is more important.
