ASHRAE Standard for Radiant Cooling

07/28/2012 12:39 PM

Hi,

Is there a governing ASHRAE standard or any specific design criteria to be followed during design of a radiant cooling system?

The ambient conditions are DB 43Deg C/70% RH. Desired indoor temperature is 24Deg C.

Chilled water is available at 16Deg C.

Thanks

Harish

ASHRAE Handbook. HVAC Systems and Equipment 2008. Chapter 12. Hydronic Heating and Cooling System Design.

ASHRAE Handbook. HVAC Systems and Equipment. Chapter 6. Panel Heating and Cooling Design. ASHRAE. 2008.

You can also refer CIBSE ( U.K ) guides.
