This is Automotive.

Can you provide some clarity? Size of generator?

Drive train? Freight train? Gravy train? Soul train?

this is a wagon which generates the eletricity of the train. it is inclued two diesel generator and a switchgear room. The dimension of the mentioned wagon is as follows:

width: 4m, length:21m and height:2m

I have to design an automatic fire extinguishing system. what system do you recommend? (Fire extinguisher are water, CO2, inert gas, etc.)

Dry powdered fire extinguisher systems are the best for liquid fuel fires. Pressurized water, or water with a foam agent added will cool and extinguish a fire also, but the dry chemical has the ability to smother better. Contact a professional in your area.

Keep it clean and well enough maintained and it should never start on fire.

Check with the authority having jurisdiction over the area that the train will operate in. Find out what their minimum requirement is. Then contact a licenced fire extinguisher business to have them install and maintain the system With proper documentation.

If there are no requirements, it is hard to beat the combination of a trained human and dry powder fire extinguishers. Think of twenty pound extinguishers as the smallest size to use. And multiple extinguishers are a must. 20 pounds will allow some good knock down power before going empty. And multiple extinguishers allow for multiple extinguishment points at the same time, and for the possibility of relighting after the initial extinguishment. Think of how many people might be on that train when there is a fire. Now think about that many lawyers trying to take the shirt off of your back. Good luck.
