Does anyone know of a good online tutorial for Perl programming?

GOOGLE SEARCH.

Results 1 - 10 of about 41,400,000 English pages for Perl. (0.17 seconds)

Try it.

I think checker33 was looking for knowledgeable advice, not a snide comment. I'm really tired of the rudeness on CR4. As a newcomer, I was going to register, but now I'm not so sure I want to.

prbarry,

Concerning a Perl programing tutorial - Tried Google Search. Too many hits to have to peruse. Was hoping someone knew of a good resource that they may have already used. Do you know of any?

Blessings,

PS - Thanks to "Guest" for your comments - let's see if they help any. Do you think they will?

It depends where you are starting from, but I have heard good things about the Perl beginners site. For a paper-based tutorial, you could try "Learning Perl", by Schwartz Phoenix and Fry.

You need to go to the source.

Try this www.perl.org, for beginners http://learn.perl.org/

Good luck
