Could this be the successor to the present day galvo-scanner?

This invention is magnificent, a fundamental invention, the applications are almost infinite. I hope to be the first user. I have an immediate application for these devices. These devices should be available at Digi-key, the best vendor of ICs in the world.

Thanks for sharing that! VERY interesting. Unfortunately, I don't think such a small mirror would work for marking and cutting lasers.

Dick,

Yes, anything over 2-3mm beam diameter and probably 1 watt would be the max. Laser TV's and entertainment would probably be the primary markets, I would guess. Maybe some medical or military (targeting) or something. They did mention something about Cu mirrors being special order though, I believe.
