HTC Chacha Problem

08/20/2012 9:37 AM

I bought HTC chacha cell phone. A 2GB memory card is installed in it correctly. On other simple phones, there is an icon called "FILE manager" Where all folders like THEMES,VIDEOS,PICTURES,MUSIC etc are located. However on this set I am not able to locate this file manager i.e. i cannot browse or explore my phone memory or SD card folders. How to find and locate all phone memory and SD card folders on my HTC chacha phone.? Help needed please. I have not find anything about this problem in my phone user manual.

You want to get a file manager from the Google Play store. I recommend ES File Explorer.

Pet peeve with so called smart phones is that all basic operations are now apps.

Being able to view what is in the device's memory is so rudimentary...maybe not. Phones are getting smarter and the consumers are forced to be dumber.

I hear your pain Coolyaar.

Does the place where you bought this phone not have customer service?

There are a number of file explorer apps available on Google Play. I use Astro. However you should also be able to see your files when you connect your phone to your PC

You should have checked the phones stats before taking out the contract, as you are now 1 month into the contract you will be way over the 14 day cooling off period, so you are now stuck with the phone for 24 months

You might like to also check to see if your phone can take a MicroSD card they can hold 2,4,6,8, & 32GB storage.
