Hydraulic Pistons

08/27/2012 3:35 PM

2 hydraulic pistons one working from 12 oclock towards the center the second from 6 oclock towards the center. each applies 1 ton of force on a central rubber block. How much total force is applied in the center when both are pushing to the center?

same scenario but from center to 6 oclock and from center to 12 oclock, how much force is applied (when both are touching each other in the center and are pushing out) at 6 or 12 oclock?

same scenario one cylinder at 6 pushing to the center second in the center pusing to 12 oclock. if the 2 cylinders are touching each other how mujch force is applied at 12 oclock

Sounds like basic hydraulics or force vector homework to me.
