Impact on Bus- Switching On of Transformer

08/31/2012 1:42 AM

Tr-4 ( 40/50 MVA- 66/33 kV with 15 % Z) is to be switched on from 66 kV existing bus which is supplied only from existing TR-1 ( 50 MVA , 220/66 kV -15 %Z ). 220 kV side bus has fault level of about 5000MVA and 66 kV side has 25 KA for 3 sec. What would be the impact on 66 kV bus in view of voltage drop or inrush current . Whether it is advisable to switch it on or not. What is normal time of inrush current of such Transformers ? I wnted to attach a sketch but could not do so .Pls advise how to attache files/attachments.
