08/31/2012 9:12 AM

I have worm wheel of SG iron 600/3 material and harness is 250 bhn of 75 teeth.

worm material of EN-19.

Worm & worm wheel are using for crystlizer. at the time of crystling it is rubbing both worm & worm wheel.

To come out from this problem what hardness I have to take of EN-19 material.

fabricating a dust proof gear cover is an obvious neccessity. how do you know the teeth hardness after abrasive crystals ground the case harding from surface the teeth?

if the teeth are'nt ruined by now, you might be able to have them rehardened at a foundary, but i think the gears are ruined.
