What is trim in valves? What is difference between Kv & Cv in valves? Is the Cv directly proportional to flow through the valve?

There are two parts in a Valve, one is Valve parts for example Body, Bonnet, Cover, yoke are called as Valve parts, Trim parts in a Valve are wetted parts, meaning the parts which are in direct contact with the fluid flowing inside a valve are called as Trim parts or Valve Trim. To understand more the internal elements of a valve are collectively called as Valve Trim. For Example Disc, Seat, Stem, Plug, etc.,
