This information is not enough to make a good purchase.

The following might be asked to the project engineer, or the one who asked for the purchase:

-what is the purpose of the transformers?

-wiil them be used indoor or outdoor?

-will them be dry or oil imersed?

-what is the local temperature range?

-how much room do you have to instal it(height, width and the third dimension)?

-which standard must the transformer follow?

-what is the minimum allowed impedance?

-state the limits of the supply(eg: no connectors shall be supplied with the transformer)

-list the accessories according to the standards

-define the auxiliary voltage for the ancillaries, such as thermometer, safety valve, buchholz, and so on

I think that this will allow the manufacturer to provide a good quotation.

Regards

Hi,

The second advice is well written . Transformer purchase is not like buying nuts and bolts. It is a very important decision and need the advice of an experienced Electrical Engineer. The specification of the Transformer has to be made as per the correct requirement , utility, future expansion ,Location (outdoor/ Indoor ) , OFT/ CRT and many many more technical parameters . Specification should include pre delivery tests (Type Test and routine Tests ). So consult a competent Electrical Engineer before floating quotations.
