Diesel Generator Fuel Stop Solenoid Control Circuit

11/01/2012 2:46 PM

Dear All,

I am looking for a cicuit inside the Generator's fuel stop solenoid which energises the solenoid the moment power is restored from the electric company. it remains activated for about half a minute during which time, the generator stops and then denenergises itself

i am looking for a circuit which operates directly on 220V ac and is transformerless, housed inside the solenoid assembly.

i hope i have made my point clearly and in the right forum

thanks

Use a relay of 220A.C coil connected to the source of electric company as a signal to operate the relay that is mean the electric company is exist .then the relay will control the D.C supply(battery of the generator) of a timer of 1 minute .set it for half .the out put relay of a timer will drive the fuel solenoid valve(take in conceder the current of the solenoid) . i think is hard to find electronic circuit as you want.

good luck

theroretically it is fine to have such arrangement but commercially they manufacture it without a relay...... probably they use a triac..... and its transformerless.

also it operates directly the 230V solenoid which pulls the fuel control lever thus cutting off the fuel supply and eventually stopping the generator.

its basically a mains operated monoshot...

if someone has the circuit please share..... its a small pcb fitted inside the solenoid itself. the problem is that its covered with some sort of resin probably to make it shock proof....

thanks for sharing your thoughts

and to make you buy the correct spare part.
