3D Solid Model Req'd - 37 Degree JIC Hose End

12/05/2012 1:41 PM

Greetings.

I need a 3D solid model of a 37 deg JIC hose end, Parker p/n 13943-16-16. Parker's website indicates a .stp file is available for download, but my computer locks up when I try the download. A search of the internet turns up nothing. Does anyone out there have a model stashed away you could share? I'm using Inventor 2012 Pro, so a native file format [.ipt] is desirable, but a neutral file format might work too.

Thanks in advance.

If'n ya need anything else Parker, let me know. I've got a ton of their ends, hoses and firesleeves as Inv 2012 .ipt files.

Will do! Thanks!

I've usually been successful with Parker's CAD library. This one part, however, just didn't want to cooperate.

Every time I've run into a problem like that it's mostly our IT dept's fault. They have a system that caches download files onto a local server so that if you try to download the file a second time it gets it from our server instead of the source. This is supposed to be a convenience to our users as it's faster to move stuff across our network than across the internet.

Soooo... if you get bad data the first time, it's cached in our servers and you get bad data every time, for that particular file.

I've had to complain to IT several times to clean out this download cache so I could try for a clean copy.

Not saying that's what is your problem with the parker part but I've occasionally seen the issue with downloaded step files.

You could always try it again, and save it under a new filename...

That depends on the source, system, your network infrastructure, browser and a few other variables like IT policies. Not all downloads give you the opportunity to save under other than what the source provides.

ie, I can't do that here.
