Flo Boss 107 Config Issues

12/13/2012 10:22 AM

I ran into a new issue regarding a Flo Boss 107 measurement Canada approved RTU. When I try to configure the RTU through the ehternet Port, I can not apply any changes to the Flo Boss. I can do all the changes I want through the LOI Port but the RTU will not allow any changes through the Ethernet Port. I also tried working with the security settings though the LOI Port, but those setting Seem to be Fixed and I can not apply any changes to the security. Call in to Spartan resulted in the Statement " Gee never seen that Before......? So I ask can I be the only One with this Issue??

Dear Macgyver71,

The LOI port is mainly used for RTU configuration and ethernet port is used for third part interface. It may not possible to configure RTU thorough third party interface. Reconfirm with supplier.

I am not familiar with the Floboss but I do know that Measurement Canada requires a physical lock with a seal to ensure the configuration cannot be changed. So you might verify if the Floboss has one on it.

Yeah Im pretty sure you can only configure the unit locally. Ethernet comm is read only. Ask spartan
