Hi to all,

For measuring the moisture content of powders we use a non-contact sensor. Curious if it would also measure the moisture of fabric.

Click for info: MoistTech IR-3000.

The fabric or textile type moisture monitures normally use a regain scale instead of relative humidity,Especially the roller resistivity contact type that you seek.

Regain refers to the amount of moisture regained by fabric if left at normal atmospheric conditions. With 100% cotton, for instance this is 6.5 to 7 %.

Fiber blends will affect this reading.

Strandberg has been doing this for over 40 years, so they can help you.
