Before procuring, you should have checked the specs. Can you post the make/model details of the test chamber?

Does your client know that you have no idea what you are doing?

There's an ethical question here. Should one claim to be knowledgeable in a field when one is not, in order to get paid to perform a task that they do not know how to do?

One should not misrepresent one's self to one's client in order to make money.

Google: 60 Hz equipment running on 50 Hz and see if you can figure it out. If not, hire a knowledgeable consultant to tutor you.

Pefect response! It should be used as a model for all the "wannabe consultant" questions that get asked here, instead of feeding them fish as others on here do. GA from me.

GA.

From a previous post this year by khwajafaizunnoor.........

Dear ALL Gents,

I am new to this Analyzer field (Recently got job).

Could you please explain more about analyzer measurements (i.e : About PPM & %)

I come across one enquiry from my client asking for 0-1% and 0-10% oxygen analyzer.. What is this actually.

Also let me know clearly about 0-500PPM, 0-1000 PPM in another enquiry for Hydrogen measurements.

This person appears totally unqualified to perform the work he has been hired for and hence any assistance we (as Engineers) offer here for this person to do a job it appears he should not have is unethical.

This may seem harsh to some but I think erring on the side of safety is logical in this case given the available information and my 'gut' feel.

We can only go by what you have written here and previously on CR4, and what little you have written leads us to make our judgements and comments.

It could be that you have not expressed yourself particularly well here and hence this has lead to a misunderstanding, however we see many questions like this asked by people who appear to be doing things they should not be doing, hence our rather harsh stance sometimes.

Usually I am more calm and forgiving, but if you go back and re-read everything you have written here on CR4 you may get an idea of why some of us have reacted this way...........

Your client needs a generator to provide 230Volts 60 Hz 33 Amps.

Or find out if the chamber has the capability to be reconfigured so that all of the subsystems will function properly on 230Volts 50 Hz.
