TED the Energy Detective - Question

Ted measures through clamp on CT's on Leg A and leg B.

The one channel version cannot measure smart in case a grid tie inverters sends power back to the grid. (more than the use)

Can TED measure with a second set of CT clamps in reverse, but at the same measuring point. (over the same legs )?

Has someone experience with this particular detail?

To do this I had the 2 channel TED (5002-C or G) in mind. Tks

From the top of page 33 in your manual:

"...If you are generating your own power (solar/wind, auxiliary generator) TED is designed to record your Consumption, Generation and record the net of the two as well..."

You need another MTU to do this, please let us know how it works out for you.

The TED software is nice to look at. I will buy a set after new year. Friends have it but do not grid tie. I will keep you posted on how I get what I have in mind.

Momentary I work with something different.
