Is it Real, or is it Geminoid

Looks like we're starting to get across the uncanny valley.

Yes quite realistic.....I have some suggestions for the next project.....

Looks and acts almost exactly like me this morning, even down to the facial hair. Although that could be due to the mid week holiday we just had.

Just great.

Now even walking into the bank won't allow me to talk to a live person.

I have friend who's face moves the same way. He creeps me out just as much as that robot.

These engineers have to build in constant motion to get rid of the "creepiness" factor. We humans are never perfectly stationary then all of a sudden just move an eyebrow. That's what makes this thing awkward. The facial expressions need to be accompanied by small fluid movements of the head, torso, arms etc because that's what we do naturally. This thing looked like a human imitating a robot by intentionally keeping everything else perfectly still.
