TDC vs c300

I am new to C300 what is the different between TDC and C300.

The advantages of the new C300 system over TDC 3000: - significant cost savings over using GUS and uses Fault Tolerant Ethernet as opposed to LCN - C300 controller might be less costly than HPM - better interfaces to 3rd party devices (i.e. OPC).
