Insulators are not all brown.
And stop SHOUTING!

There are standars for colour coding wires for the purpose of saftey, so you can identify which wires have what voltage on them.

It is due to the wavelengths of light that are reflected and the wavelengths of light that are absorbed.

Cheap dark glazing which easily lets you see flaws like cracks in it. The brown color maybe the best for covering the natural color of the clays used. Is why a lot of them are made brown. They are made many other colors. All depends on the users choice.

The colour is dependant on what material the insulators are made from, they vary in colour and there is no special reason I am aware of other than material composition.

Jack - Ours are grey.
