AVR Circuit for Automobile Alternators

This would be designed for a specific application....here is a general idea...

That looks like my 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix electrical system. This was the test car for the Delco alternator (or so I believe this to be true). It still had that old mechanical regulator as shown.

Some time ago, through trial and error, I discovered searching Images is sometimes faster than simple word searches....It depends on what you're looking for....Try comparing the two next time you do a word search on google, just hit the 'images' tab next to 'search'....

Yes good call on the diagram it is from an old chevy...70's I think....

I don't know what year Delco put the solid state regulator inside the alternator body. Did make a nice package.

Damn wish I kept that 62, but 1981, I was so tired of fixing all the time, I gave it to my teenage brother who trashed it.
