ETAP 7.0

03/26/2013 9:19 PM

Why is it when running load flow analysis in ETAP, the motor is supplied with power above its rating, while loading category at motor is set 100%?

It's supplied with power above its rating because it is not 100% efficient. Motor rating is the mechanical power output.

Supplied power = output power divided by efficiency. Note that actual output power is determined by the driven machine, it can be lower than rated power.
