No, not unless their company is using that specific software, and they are designers or at least expected to modify Intergraph's INtools software. I read in another forum MS database is much better for under 1000 instruments because it much cheaper, does nicer reporting, is portable and does not require an annual license fee.
So all those negative attributes will make it unlikely an instrument tech will go to work for one of the small percentage of companies that cost justify purchasing INtools software. So one should only seek training if the company they are working for already has it, and they will be expected to use it in their particular job function. (Most maintenance won't.)
