I am looking for strength. We make little tow bars and they are always getting bent.

Sounds like a poor design. SS will keep the bent parts from rusting.

Use thicker steel, or change the design.

Look at Mat web. Tensile strength may better you want flexural strength.

I'm on a phone and can't easily.

They have an excellent strength to weight ratio and are considerably stronger and harder than standard 1020 steel, but are not easily welded (need pre and post weld thermal treatment to avoid cold cracking).

Application is the question. 4130 is a very good choice for seamless tubing. Has been used in the aircraft industry for years. Strong and light weight. But, I might add it is used after much analysis has been completed (engineering) for the proper size and use.
