Scale control in pipes

06/01/2007 1:20 PM

Hi

Does any one know the best way to control scale in geothermal pipes, any advice maybe different to chemical products that may contaminate the enviroment? I used magnetic treatment a few years ago with partial results but my clients were not convinced. Any supplier around here for a solution? please explain only proven solutions

Effective scale control in geothermal steam ? pipes is difficult. It is HIGHLY dependent on the individual well chemistry. The large geothermal power project at The Geysers north of San Francisco has developed effective methods for their wells, but that may not help yours.

Scale control technology is THE Holy Grail of geothermal technology and knowhow--and you want it free?
