Ammonical Nitrogen

IN RO Reject water have 140 mg/l of ammonical nitrogen .after we adding hypo,hydrogen peroxide ,ozonation various stage. each oxidant addition we are passed the effluent thro activated carbon filter .then we cheked ammonical nirogen values are increased . how is possible.
