OMNI Makes A Comeback

I can't be the only one that used to love this magazine.

The thread about hours for currency reminded me of a short story from Omni, where people were implanted with chips, and time was the currency. Do a job...rack up hours of time; run out of time...you die. It was one of many excellent stories that kept me reading. It's back in internet form. Enjoy!

Not really, but I really used to like the magazine.

It would be good for someone with a kindle or something. I'll check it out further; if the stories are as good as they used to be, I'll make time. I wish I could still get paper copies.

I was a subscriber for many years... in the end, however, a fair amount of the articles left me... wanting more.

I really liked the short stories. They had some real talent sometimes.
