Calculation of Shunt Capacitance

11/12/2013 8:40 AM

I am designing an RF receiver on PCB for my project and have a problem getting the appropriate value of the shunt capacitor to use. Please advise me on how to calculate the required value of capacitor for the receiver of frequency 88-108MHz

Two comments:

1) At CR4 we do not do people's homework or design school projects for them. We do however help people who demonstrate that they have done their work and are stuck on something.

2) You don't give enough information to allow anyone to help you. If you provide more technical information and show that you have done work and understand the fundamentals of what you are trying to do then people might be both able and willing to help.

Go to the library and check out a copy of ARRL's 'Radio Amateur's Handbook'
