Problems with Tektronix S-3270

06/08/2007 3:32 AM

Hello,

I'm using an Automated Test System from Tektronix which reference is S-3270 and I have a trouble with it.

I'm not able to read the good current on on all voltages VS5, VS6, VS7, VS8 that comes from the 1140#2. This is the only problem written on screen when I run a verdict.

The current has been checked on the plug J960 at the junction pannel 1804 from the outside of the 1140#2 and it is good. When I try to check the current from the card MC3 Current-voltage monitor with an amperemeter I don't read the good current, for example for VS5 instead of reading -28mA I read -5mA.

Does someone knows how to fix this problem? If not does someone know someone or a compagny that can help me to fix this, please?

Thank you in advance.

If I were experiencing this problem after having read the manual I would seek assistance from the manufacturer, Tektronix.

Hello Katkat,

I just ran across your request. First of all appliedtest.com supports the S3270. The business was purchased from Tektronix 10 years ago, including all HW, SW, schematics, BOMs, etc. You can contact them at 503-649-2923 in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA. BTW where are you located?

Do you still have your TEK S-3270?

I was THE expert on that system back in the day - having designed much of the units and written much of the software!

I have 100's of manuals, fixtures, sources, etc. Would you be interested in that stuff?
