if you have the full dll file name you can search for it on any other W8 and copy it to a stick. Note where the search found the file and copy it into the same location on the bad OS directory. Reboot and look for another dll message, these usually take out more than one at a time. Repeat the process as necessary and when you have no further errors do a windows update fom MS.

If the steps Kram has posted do not work then you have a hardware problem, such as a bad hard drive or what I think may be the case, a bad SSD drive. Hard drives lose data from time to time, particularly in the boot sectors, but rarely do the missing dll's change with each restart. But a flaky SSD might actually do just that since the memory allocation is quite different from a conventional hard drive. Please let us know what you find.

When was the last time you defragged your hard drive?

If it has been more than a week and you access the internet a lot, I would suggest doing so then see if the problem goes away.

I have never defraged my drives since they got to 500 G. As long as you have plenty of disk space the OS does not need to fragment even the largest files if it can find enough contiguous space. I typically have several hundred gigs of free space. If you routinely defrag your disks you could incur some slight corruption since there is no attempt to verify that the file was copied correctly.
