Manufacturing of Standard Channels

Hey,

What manufacturing process is followed for making standard Steel and Stainless Steel channels like ( L , C , Sqr Channels).

1. Continuous rolling from sheet metal rolls with flying cutters.

2. Bending and plying pre- cut sheets

Square can be weld with contact rolling or automatic MIG in these 2 processes.

There is also extruding as a process, mostly for heavier types.

The process is known as Hot Rolling
