Look at the data sheets.

You don't say whether this is a new or existing installation.

1. Consult with the manufacturer that this is an appropriate coating, and what is the guarantee?

2. If previously coated, ensure that the old coating is compatible with the new.

3. Ensure that any surface preparation is properly carried out.

4. Since you are coating the inside of the pipe, make sure that the surface can be walked on within the time allotted for a second or top coat.

I would blast it to spec and use the Sigmacover 300 2 part epoxy as a top coat....

A universal primer specifically designed for use in newbuilding situations. To be used on steel alone or in combination

with various systems. If a cosmetic finish is required, it should be used together with a topcoat. so this shouldn't be considered as a topcoat.

Thanks for your comments. Yes I am going to to power tooled the corroded places to St 3 and apply a top coat following a primer and other places will be roughen and coated with suitable coal tar epoxy. This was originally coated by Coal Tar coating following a primer.
