Need Example for design Calculation Pressure Vessel

I would advise to find a pressure vessel other than a reactor vessel. If you go looking for blueprints to those you will have a lot of eyes on you. I would suggest something simple like a large propane tank or air/gas tank but I do not know what the requirements are.

You answered your own question ASME CODE has all the rules and specifications particularly Section VIII division I Rules for Construction of Pressure Vessels and Section II Part D Materials. Check with engineering firms and vessel construction shops ask for an out of date set of codes. ASME is updated annually with revisions and complete new set issued every three years. An old copy of the code will have all the basic design formulas.

A good reference is PRESSURE VESSEL HANDBOOK, by Eugene F. Megyesy, published by Pressure Vessel Publishing, Inc. P.O. Box 35365 Tulsa, Oklahoma 74153 USA.

There is also computer software that will guide you through the design process. It is called Compress provided by Codeware Inc., 3100 S. Gessner Rd., Suite 610 Houston, TX 77063. The codeware web site is:
