Our society's health is consistently damaged by cigarettes and
with all the warning labels absolutely everywhere, it doesn't seem to help
much. It was about time that a new revolutionary technology was engineered to
help us out. The beginning was the eCigarette, a small device which resembled a
cigarette but released water vapor instead of smoke. It was time for a
replacement for the harmful tar and many other additives that destroy our body.
From personal experience, I have seen many successfully quit cigarettes. This
device is very portable and can be charged through a USB or outlet. At this
point, even the tobacco giants as well as vapor kit manufacturers jumped on
board and started to design their own brands. Many today are advertised, some
popular being Blu, Krave Electronic Cigarettes and Smoke51.
Somewhat recently a new device was engineered which gave birth to
an entire new community of vapors. Hookah
Pens were increasing in fame throughout the globe. Extremely popular
in the United States, Canada and United Kingdom. They were pretty similar to
eCigs but nonetheless followed the idea of a traditional hookah experience.
Often packaged in two, so that you either don't run out of battery life or
could enjoy with another, thus influencing more people to get on board.
This electronic hookah pen comes in many designs such as eGo and
eVod being most popular. Many manufacturers have taken their time to add some
beauty to these devices. Nowadays there is an obsession with MODs, this means
people are modifying or as they refer to it "hooking up" their
devices. For all you engineers wondering what this device is, I will explain.
It is simply an eLiquid Vaporizer. Depending which device you
choose, they may come with a different eLiquid chamber. An Atomizer is the
central component consisting of a small heating element with a wicking material
that draws the eLiquid in. A cartomizer has a heating element that surrounds it
by a liquid soaked poly foam that is used as the eLiquid holder. A clearomizer
is a clear tank where an atomizer is inserted. Lastly, rebuildable atomizers
are used in the MODs where the user can assemble the wick and coil by
themselves.
The liquid placed inside their tank/chamber is usually composed
of vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol and fruit extract. Even
though this eHookah device is not FDA approved I would vouch this
being a whole lot safer than cigarettes. Either way, after doing your research
of what FDA approves, I wouldn't suggest the society to base their decision on
this. I recommend this device to be used as a Quit Smoking technology. Not a
reason to start vaping especially with nicotine. Luckily there are choices of
how much nicotine you want in your eLiquid generally from 0% up to 2.4%.
The
US Center for Disease Control and Prevention which is a federal agency,
believes that there is enough evidence to claim that eCigarettes
are less harmful than traditional cigarette smoking. Shoppers for eLiquid are
urged to be careful and do their research. Many companies undersell eLiquids
that are not made in professional labs but people still choose to shop there
due to low prices. Eventually this market will be regulated and labs will have
to follow precise rules for ingredients and nicotine measurements.
