Who was being hurt by this?

.

It is appalling that the government is not content with merely being expensive, oppressive, dangerous, and corrupt; and so feels compelled to also act as the proverbial wet blanket to smother any enjoyable profitable beneficial activity.

.

I'm beginning to wonder if someone isn't trying to insight some sort of revolt.

good decision, people on ground should be protected from falling debris and aerial traffic should be confined to easily visible aircrafts, helicopters, sir ambulances only.Road traffic

could be easily managed by traffic lights, police etc what will happen if small drones in thousands fly across causing fear in the minds of people.

"....what will happen if small drones in thousands fly across causing fear in the minds of people...."

.

I can't say what will happen, only what appropriately should happen in that case: a lot of face palming followed by a lot of head shaking.

.

.

Yes, rules need to be created to make things safe, especially in congested inner city areas. The FAA has known about this for a long time.... rules should have been finalized already.

.

More importantly, this is over a frozen lake delivering to ice fishers. No one is going to be stricken with fear seeing a keg of beer fly by. The FAA should have given them a temporary permit to fly only over the lake no more than 10ft high.

If they violate my airspace, I will shoot them down.

I feel the same way about cigarette smokers.
