	To take care of PF problems, utilities are understood to be changing to KVAh metering from KWh Metering. Which all countries have successfully done this and have they improved the system PF significantly? __________________ NT Nair, EKL

	You mean if I have a heater that consume tens of megawatt (the meter will read zero kVA) , yet I dont have to pay a single cent ? 	Why would 10MW read as zero kVA just because it is a heater? I think you have a math brain fart going on there. __________________ All I every really wanted to be, was... A LUMBERJACK!.

	I think in India, The Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board has implemented kVAh Billing. Kindly let me know if any other Indian States follow the same.

	It will not change the PF at all, but it will allow the power company to charge appropriately for power consumed. __________________ Smart as a post and twice as fast.
