New evidence from space supports Stanford physicist's theory of how universe began

The detection of gravitational waves by the BICEP2 experiment at the South Pole supports the cosmic inflation theory of how the universe came to be. The discovery, made in part by Assistant Professor Chao-Lin Kuo, supports the theoretical work of Stanford's Andrei Linde.

Interesting report. People generally find what they are looking for if they look long enough, make enough assumptions, stir in a little circular reasoning, mix a few metaphors and grab a date they like and throw it in.

I agree . It seems like the same results and the same explanation each time we see one of these "miraculous" discoveries that are suppose to justify the big bang or any other theory that opposes Creation. They just try to spin it a different way. There is no scientific explanation, of our understanding, that explains how the first "bowl of outer space soup" or gravitational pull or whatever else came to be. Every explanation is missing that piece of the puzzle with the exception of a God who created everything and just maybe created us without the same intellect or understanding of the God who created us.

The photo of the observatory is so heavily edited...tsk, tsk, tsk.

Nearly every star in the field was modified as was the entire snowfield. Couldn't they get a better photographer to image the station?

It does make one wonder...
