Bolt grades that I know of are: 4.6, 5.6, 6.8, 8.8, 10.9, 12.9

The first number multiplied by 100 is the minimum tensile strength of the bolt material in MPa

The second number multiplied by 10 is the ratio of the yield stress to the minimum tensile strength

Thus a grade 8.8 bolt has a minimum tensile strength of 800 MPa and a minimum yield stress of 0.8* 800 = 640MPa
