Composite Used for Aerospace Applications

Carbon fiber and Kevlar or fiberglass in various configurations along with epoxy with either molds or free formed (layered) on a foam substrate.

Carbon fiber, fiberglass and Kevlar are "cloth" of varying weave and density. The activated epoxy is introduced into the weaves of the cloth, completely soaking it, excess epoxy is wiped off, or vacuumed off using a vacuum bag technique. (Leaving excess epoxy makes the parts heavier, not good for aerospace products.) The cloth is layered for additional strength.

When the epoxy is cured it may be heated further to enhance the epoxy "hardness", making the parts stronger and lighter than aluminum.

ya...mostly we can use epoxy based composite material.

where it as good properties ,strength,dimensional stability,corrosion resistance.

the glass chopped mat will be impregenated with epoxy resin...

The composite materials for the aerospace industry is growing rapidly. A large portion of the new Boeing 787 is made with this material. Composite material is flimsy at first and can be layed up over a curved surface (like a wing) and cured in an autoclave. Another interesting property of the composite material is that you can design a part to have specific loads (ex. tension, compression, flex, etc).

If you are looking for the composition of the material, I think that you will have a hard time getting the formulations because of trade secrets. However, I would look into the Boeing 787 that is assembled in Everett, WA USA and maybe the local newspaper to see if they have stories on the airplane (check the Seattle PI).
