Question About Offset When Welding Pipe Seams

hello gents,

if there is two seam pipe & has to join with weld during fit up minimum how much offset will required between the two seam joints.plz.reply with refrence.

Offset longitudenal seams a minmum of 120 degrees.
ASME B31.3

I believe he is right, between 120 and 180 degrees.
