A quick Google Search gets you hundreds of sites (I have not counted them!!).

I have observed something of significance when new engineers / under grads ask these 'types' of questions.

(1) When a person is very junior, he/she expects a lot of answers (which he/she hopes will 'answer' them to-the-point).

(2) When he/she becomes experienced (grows in the subject), he/she will give a generic answer with an underlying assumption that his/her answers MAY NOT be a direct fit to the question that the new juniors are asking. They will (mostly) say that there are multiple answers and you (the new junior) need to decide which one to select.

This is very interesting. Isn't it?

Any comments? (Seniors to me will definitely say that there are different types of comments to this!!!).
