Mechanical Engineering Library

06/23/2007 4:39 AM

I like that word mechanical engineering, and I'm proud of to be a mechanical engineer, and become a designer. It is a good moment to suggest an idea to help all mechanical engineers:

Constructing a Mechanical Engineering library composed of that free download handbooks, codes and standards from internet. Is it a good idea and capable to be achieved?

Hi Guest,

I would suggest that, you take a look how Hydrogen can be separated from H2O. A man claim that he has done it. His theory started when he flush water to the burning-coal being used on the bar-b-q. immediately when he flushed with water, a flame was created when the water reaches to the burning-coal. And that he started to build his gadget and use on his car. however, during public presentation of his invention, he dont want to open that gadget to see if it is true as he is thinking that it might be duplicated by other influencial people from the governement. Well, this might be possible.... and it will be a greatest invention on earth as the Oil and Gas will be the 2nd choice.

I pressume if hydrogen fuel will be availlable.... engine manufacturers can build an engine with 15000 - 21000 rpm for cars. then our cars will be start flying which no longer traffic is required.

Now, Hitachi of Japan have developed a mind control remote function device using human mind. we are now very very near High-Tech this time.

Umm, don't think that's related to what he asked....

As for looking up a mechanical engineering database, get yourself the Bible a.k.a. Machinery's Handbook (up to the 27th edition as far as I know). A lot of people put a lot of time and effort into making guidebooks and databases like these, so being able to download them for free isn't really fair to them.

Most codes and standards are copyrighted material, so you may have problem posting them online.
