RFID

06/25/2007 6:32 AM

Hi , I work in a company that specialises in RFID in the warehousing and apparel retail sector .However, I am interested in the implant and tracking of persons ( for security /anti kidnapping ) and would be very interested to know the following:

1) How is a device implanted recharge itself ?

2) Can this be picked up by a regular GPRS Transmittor (similar to car tracking GPRS systems)?

3) What would be the distance the RFID chip could be tracked from ?

4) Is there someway to activate the chip ? IE only activate when someone is percieved to be at risk ?

I would be very grateful for input on this ?
