Response of Ferrite Powder
06/15/2014 9:49 PM
Can any one high light the behaviour of ferrite powder (N87 grade) when placed in a high frequency and high voltage field. this powder is placed in the vicinity of the current carrying electrode which is sealed in a refractory sheath.
The problem is that I am using it as a filler compound beside the copper electrode which is sealed in a refractory sheath, The refractory sheath is a tube of wall thickness 3.5mm which acts as a dielectric on surface of which corona is generated in the presence of high voltage and frequency of 300 Khz.
Does ferrite contribute to increase in density of plasma generated, If not can Barium titanate give good results.
Is your ferrite already magnetic? It will probably take on magnetic properties when exposed to a magnetic field or it will change the properies and poles depended on what you expose it to.
