Can any one help me in providing the excel sheet for the calculations of wind and moment calculations for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, reactors and other static equipment which is skirt, lug, saddle or skirt supported.

If you need ANY other information do tell me

Uniform Building Code, UBC, issued by American Society of Civil Engineers, ASCE, derived from ASA A58.1 , (now ASA is known as ANSI).

ASA (American Standards Association) was founded in 1918 to authorize national standards originating from 5 major engineering societies. Previously a chaotic situations had arisen as many as trade associations had been issuing individual standards which sometimes overlapped.

In 1967, the name of the ASA was changed to USASI (USA Standards Institute).

In 1969, a 2nd change was made to ANSI. Standards previously issued under the prefixes ASA and USASI are now prefixed ANSI.

Note : not all USA standards and codes are issued directly by the institute. The ASME, API, ISA, and several other organizations issue standards and codes that apply to designers, inspectors, fabricators, owners, and any user.

The Pressure Vessel Handbook by Eugene F. Megyesy is recommended as it has many worked examples and is easy to follow. You should also consult The Pressure Vessel Design Manual by Dennis Moss & the Pressure Vessel Handbook by Henry H Bednar
