I'm recently out of college a year or so ago and took my first job at a manufacturer for ag and construction equipment. But recently, they were laying off all their contract employees so I took the first offer I could before I was out of work. I'm now a contingent NVH Test Engineer at a major automotive company. I have heard that NVH is a good field to go into because it is hard to find NVH engineers and NVH is the future. I have also heard it is a huge learning curve. Is there any truth to this? Provided I enjoy this work, would it be a good career move to try and stay an NVH Test Engineer and develop my expertise in this specific field?
