Joint Design in Fit Up Inspection

07/27/2014 3:34 PM

According to ASME secion IX joint design is nonessential variable

the question is: Can we mention this to piping fit up inspection or not?

it means that can actual joint design(bevel, gap, root face and gap) be different from WPS or not?

Joint design is an essential variable for EBW and LBW. Joint design is a Supplementary essential variable for Plasma Arc Welding.
