As the indisputably stupid idea of using autonomous drones for publicity stunts such as delivering chocolates and dog food to hapless recipients takes on more and more traction, guess who will pay to keep them from killing innocent people?

Somehow I suspect that my tax dollars will be used to outfit the drones with fancy audio and video capability as well. Just another public/private partnership. It's for the greater good.

Sometimes the sarcasm is so clear in my mind that I assume it goes directly through the keyboard.

It makes sense though. Why put military grade eavesdropping technology in special NSA drones, when you can offer to pay UPS and Papa John's to put it in theirs?

Nobody knows a thing, and the only people talking about it are crazy conspiracy types.
